Imagine Peace Tower stamp gets Bronse in Zurich at the ED-Awards (European Design Awards). I could not be there this year but sure it was great as Stockholm was last year.

Iceland Post will publish today a stamp on the Imagine Peace Tower in Videy by Yoko Ono. It is printed in 5 color offset, where one of the colors is a UV- ink + a glow in the dark printed in silkscreen.
Íslandspóstur gefur út í dag frímerki tileinkað Friðarsúlunni í Viðey eftir Yoko Ono. Frímerkið er prentað í 5 lita offsetprentun, þar sem einn liturinn er UV-litur og yfirprentað að hluta með "glow in the dark" í silkiprentun.

The stamp, Sixth Translation of the Icelandic Bible is finalist in the European Design Awards 2008, or *ED Awards, in the category Misc printed. The stamp has one letter/type from the titlepage of each og the translations, forming the word BIBLIA, the icelandic word for the Bible. It is printed with 2 black pantone colors with 22k gold foil.
Frímerkið sem útgefið var í tilefni sjöttu þýðingar biblíunnar er „Finalist“ í *ED Awards 2008, European Design Awards, í flokknum Ýmist prentefni. Merkið sýnir einn staf af titilblaði fyrri þýðinga sem mynda orðið BIBLÍA. Það er prentað með tveimur svörtum pantone-litum og fólíugyllt með 22 k gulli.

Iceland Post issues 7 new stamps by Örn Smári today. Four are in the series Icelandic Industrial Design, two are Europa stamps, and one is the Official Personalized stamp, Frímerikn mín.
Íslandspóstur gefur út 7 frímerki eftir Örn Smára í dag. Fjögur eru í seríu sem heitir Íslensk iðnhönnun og gefin er út í tilefni af 10 ára afmæli Hönnunarsafns Íslands, tvö eru svokölluð Evrópufrímerki og eitt er hið opinbera persónulega frímerki, Frímerkin mín.
Mjolka's logo wins Gold in Graphis Logo Design 7. Previously has the logo won Best of Nation in Eulda and FIT´s Logo Design Awards as well as nomination to IMARK.

Merki MJÓLKU sem Örn Smári hannaði hlaut einnig Hönnunarverðlaun FÍT og var útnefnt til Lúðursins hjá ÍMARK, en laut í lægra haldi fyrir aðalkeppinautnum MS. Merkið var einnig birt í bókinni Logolounge 3 sem út kom á síðast ári og var uppáhald Sharon Werner, eins dómaranna. Hún sagði um merkið:
